One really cool thing about the view from the window seat on a long haul flight is trying to figure out what the aerial landscape is that you’re flying over.
On a recent trans-Atlantic flight to Iceland we were lucky to get an amazing view of the frozen mountains and fjords of Greenland en-route.
Unlike most aerial landscapes from a commercial airliner, it was pretty easy to figure out that we were flying over Greenland – although even in June there was absolutely nothing green about the land below!
