The hotel we were staying at in Florida happened to have a tennis court – so it was a good opportunity to teach the kids a new sport. We’re not exactly Wimbledon tennis players, but we did play our fair share of squash in college – so we knew enough to have a few good rallies.

I photographed this family tennis match between my wife and son with a Sigma 85mm f/1.4. I love my wife’s perfect tennis mom outfit, and the concentration on my son’s face as he tries to return a serve is priceless.

It was a hot Florida morning to be on a tennis court, so the game didn’t last long – just long enough to capture a few decent family tennis photos.
